PUPPY Hunton Park set the scene for Caroline and Dean’s day Images courtesy of Sophie Connell Photography C aroline and Dean have known each other since they were young but fate kept taking them in different directions. “We always liked one another but were in relationships so it never seemed to be the right time for us,” says Caroline. It was Christmas Eve, 2011 that they finally made it official and have been together ever since. When it came to proposing, Dean got their dog, Pixie, in on the plan. “One random Monday morning I’d just got out of the shower and Dean shouted upstairs to tell me to look at Pixie,” she says. “I bent down to look at her and she had a ribbon with ‘love’ written on it tied around her neck. Dean told me to undo the bow and when I did the ring fell on the floor. I picked it up, put it on my finger and ran around the house in excitement! Once I calmed down I said ‘yes’!” Here Caroline gives us all the details about their day… Caroline Handley, 29, married Dean Dias, 33, at St Anselms Church, followed by a reception at Hunton Park on 29 th July, 2018.
