Your Herts & Beds Wedding - Jun/Jul 2019 (Issue 74)

My friend Katy designed and illustrated our wedding stationery to match our colour scheme and flowers. We opted for a mixture of high and low centrepieces. We had candelabra and hurricane vases with candles and floral arrangements that were placed on gold table runners. Our Mr and Mrs Patterson black board was hand-painted by my friend Katie We had milk jugs full of flowers at the ceremony that smelt beautiful in the summer sunshine and roses in jars were tied to the chairs with ribbon. My dad drove me to the venue in his classic white Porsche 911, which has been a big part of my life as I grew up. I wanted the flowers to be a big part of the day. My wild bouquet was huge and brimming with my favourites – peonies, roses and hydrangeas. I loved it! REAL WEDDINGS 53 
