For the favours, individually wrapped personalised chocolates that complemented the colour scheme were shared and the couple made a donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity on behalf of their guests. “Instead of the traditional top table, we opted for a love table for the two of us. We wanted everyone to feel relaxed and didn’t want couples to be split up or feel awkward, which can sometimes happen when you go for a traditional top table,” she says. The stunning three-tier cake creation was decorated with hand-brushed icing and real lace. “Our designer Kimberley unleashed her creative skills and it was beautiful. She even picked up the French lace for the border while she was on holiday – talk about a personal service!” Guests tucked into a selection of sweets and the Krispy Kreme doughnut table was very popular. THE GUNNERS Just after the speeches Jen gave Paul a surprise. “He’s a dedicated supporter of Arsenal FC so I wrote to the club to ask for a message to give him on the day. I made a small speech, read the letter out and got two Arsenal shirts with DUNN 18 on the back for us both,” she says. “One of the best decisions we made was to have alpacas at the wedding. The kids loved them! They were able to feed them carrots and stroke them throughout the reception drinks. We got some great photos and everyone enjoyed them being there.” Throughout the evening guests were given flip flops and blankets so they could enjoy the party in comfort and a DJ filled the dancefloor with a range of Jen and Paul’s favourite cheesy tunes. Jen and Paul chose Becky Harley to capture their big day, with Jen commenting, “I love natural photography and that’s what Becky excels in. She’s such a lovely bubbly girl and she adds a personal touch to everything that she does. “We loved our day. Everyone was relaxed and had a good time, which was exactly what we wanted.”
