Your Herts and Beds Wedding - April/May 2025 (Issue 109)

This vibrant shoot set in the heart of the countryside blends rustic charm with romantic details Images courtesy of Caroline Acaster Photography With the English countryside as the theme, The Gardens at Polehanger served as an ideal backdrop for this styled shoot, featuring an abundance of rustic outdoor areas, from orchards to wildflower patches. The skilled team of vendors moved seamlessly through the venue, mimicking the flow of a real wedding day. They began by preparing in one of the beautiful rooms of the main house, then transitioned outdoors to utilise the stunning grounds for both the ceremony and the table setup, all beautifully captured by Caroline Acaster. Staying true to the theme, the bride donned a boho-inspired gown crafted by Romantica of Devon, complemented by a dazzling cathedrallength veil from Richard Designs in Cambridgeshire, adding a touch of drama to her ensemble. Flowers by Lauren H sourced blooms from a local Bedfordshire grower to create a stunning bouquet and flower meadows that adorned the signage and cake area. In the outdoor gardens and barn, Christina from The Luxury Cake Co. designed an elegant and slightly rustic bake, accompanied by a dessert table that evoked the essence of a classic British afternoon tea. Sam from Samsa May’s expertly infused pops of colour to enhance the floral arrangements, styling the table and dessert display to complete the overall aesthetic.
