My groom wore a tweed suit with a burgundy waistcoat, as did the wedding party. We had winged key bottle openers for the men and personalised Harry Potter-themed corks for the girls, as well as Ferrero Rocher golden snitches too for favours. Guests received a wand and a train ticket, which told them the table they were on and the house they’d been sorted into. We had letters flying out of the fireplace, suitcases with names on, the sorting hat, Hedwig the owl and lots of flowers in the house colours to decorate the venue. It was the best day ever for both of us. We were extremely in love, and after having met when we were only 20, we knew we were exactly where we were supposed to be, we complete each other. Our centrepieces featured flowers and items from the movie series, such as potions as well as divination and herbology details, The Great Hall and Honeydukes, the sweet shop for the kids table. 36
