I was pretty nervous in the morning and highly stressed during the ceremony, but I was in my own world afterwards! It was overwhelming to realise we had just tied the knot, but also magical. Joe wore almost the same suit as the groomsmen but with a brown waistcoat to stand out! Milling Barn was the initial venue we visited, and it immediately met all our criteria – it was absolutely beautiful! We planned to visit other venues because we thought it would be too costly, but it was everything we wanted and more. It was rustic, welcoming and comfortable, providing us with the authentic country atmosphere we adored. My bouquet stood out with a beautiful blend of cream, pink and burgundy colours, while the bridesmaids’ bouquets were elegantly simple, with white flowers to complement their dresses. When I saw myself in the mirror, I felt a beauty I had never felt before. I was so excited to walk down the aisle and marry my best friend. 40
