They clicked during a visit to his local pub, and even though Amy was a bit shy, Joe was keen to meet her again. After a few dates, he asked her to be his girlfriend, and their romance flourished. Amy loved Joe’s kind nature and his wonderful sense of humour. She has always thought he was handsome since day one. In October 2022, Joe proposed at Crummock Water in the beautiful Lake District. On their first day there, they took a leisurely walk to the lake to take in the scenery. When they arrived at a lovely grassy spot, Joe set down his bag and set up his phone to capture the special moment. As Amy waited on the grass, he walked over asking if she wanted to see what he had for her. After expressing his feelings, he got down on one knee and popped the question.
