My dress was the one thing I was scared to buy as I’m in the plus size range and struggled in the first couple of shops before finding Just Curves Bridal. The team could not have been more welcoming and made me feel beautiful! I’d always wanted a floaty lace dress and found the exact gown of my dreams. My bridesmaids wore a mixture of green and orange gowns. They all wore their own silver shoes, so we had a mix of platforms, sparkly silver shoes and even a pair of silver vans! I just wanted them all to be comfortable. I also chose an opportune moment to wind up my new brother-inlaw by throwing (placing) the bouquet to his partner. The groomsman wore either grey or navy suits of their choosing, and I bought them all matching emerald ties and buttonholes. We wanted a mix-match style, which worked perfectly. We enjoyed the music from the minute we started the reception as Jn Sounds was absolutely brilliant! He was like an extension of us on the day; he ensured everyone was always in a good mood and picked brilliant music. My sister who was my maid-of-honour was amazing throughout the whole process! She planned a brilliant hen do, helped with all the crafting and then gave a beautiful speech – I don’t know what I’d do without her.
