Your Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Wedding- April/May 2021 (Issue 26)
We were incredibly lucky with the weather (because it had rained for three days leading up to our wedding) and got our wish of being able to get married outside in the beautiful ceremony area. We seated our 53 guests at large circular tables and decided on having a small top table. Because the UK weather is unpredictable, we were searching for a venue that offered indoor and outdoor areas for the ceremony and photographs. Eastington Park is a stunning Grade II listed property set in incredible grounds and offered all of these options. We wanted a venue where all of our guests could stay for the weekend so Eastington Park was the perfect choice for this. I made our table plan which was displayed in a vintage frame. I also wrote our place names using calligraphy writing on glittery tags which were attached to small paper birdcages containing Kinder eggs as favours. We would recommend having toastmasters who kept the day running to schedule and supported our photographer and venue staff. They were an entertaining double act and looked great in their red uniforms! 30
