Your Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Wedding- December 2020/Janaury 2021 (Issue 24)

We chose plenty of green foliage and white flower varieties. I wanted to keep it simple and natural to suit the venue. I noticed that my dad was very emotional when he saw me in my dress for the first time. I ushered my bridesmaids out of the room and we waited for the taxi to arrive. We didn’t say very much, but I felt so happy that he was there. A calm moment, just the two of us. We scattered pictures of our guests who were sat at each table as a conversation starter. Cripps Barn has open fires, Cotswold stone walls, lots of candles displayed around and an outdoor firepit which was everything we wanted for our romantic winter wedding. Matt and I sat at a sweetheart table because we had plenty of immediate family members to fit on to one table. It was the best decision we made because it gave us some time to reflect on the day together. “We hired a string quartet who played All You Need Is Love by The Beatles as I walked up the aisle.
