These grounds are home to a historic Portcullis, the p erfect photographic backdrop, and there’s also a secluded lake. Ceremonies take place in the beautiful Ballroom – a grand, c hurch-like setting within the castle featuring a 75-foot long aisle. T he wedding breakfast also takes place here, under the tall ceilings and glittering chandeliers. The reception is held in a choice of elegant rooms that include the Main Hall, an inviting space with a feature fireplace and comfortable sofas, and the Drawing Room with its baby grand piano and doors leading onto the Cocktail Terrace. There’s also the option of the vaulted Cellars Bar which boasts an LED-lit dancefloor. Set in eight acres of sweeping grounds sits this stunning Georgian manor house with dramatic entrance pillars and original features inside. It’s tastefully decorated in elegant neutral tones to work with any colour theme, including a Christmas one, and boasts magnificent high ceilings and coving offering a grand and luxurious feel. The grounds make the perfect backdrop for photographs, even in winter, and are home to a wedding pergola, mature trees, a walled garden, croquet lawn and a stream.
