Chris proposed to Anne-Marie in the grounds of Ashford Castle in Ireland on 17 th November 2018 during a romantic weekend away. “After eight years of waiting and two young children, I had a feeling that Chris was going to propose because we had never had a weekend away on our own,” she says. “Chris kept the location a surprise until we reached Bristol airport. On the day of the proposal, we had been horse riding that morning and he asked me to marry him in the afternoon, against the romantic backdrop of a magnificent lake. We enjoyed champagne in the grounds followed by dinner that evening in the castle – it was magical.” Here, Anne-Marie tells us more about their special day at the stunning Tewkesbury Park.
