K atie and Rob met at a rock bar in Coventry while he was a student and she was working at Coventry University. “I really don’t like rock music at all but I went along because I had just moved to the area and my friend was a DJ at the gig,” Katie tells us. “She decided to introduce me to some people and that’s how I met Rob at the bar because she knew him from a rock society. We hit it off immediately (even with my odd questions about string theory) and the rest, as they say, is history!” The couple became engaged one month after their son was born when they had been together for 1000 days! “Rob proposed on my way back from church while William was asleep at his grandma’s house,” Katie tells us. “It was in a woodland area behind their house and it was very quiet and relaxed. It was the best moment ever.” Here, Katie tells us about their special day at Manor by the Lake.
