6 T here’s something magical about this time of the year, and it’s the build-up to Christmas, the three days themselves and then the anticipation of the year ahead. I love pottering around the shops, getting presents for my loved ones and cute decorations for my new home. I look forward to spending my first Christmas in my new place, cooking a turkey dinner with my family and then opening presents, drinking red wine and feasting on mums homemade cake that she has promised to make this year. Traditional and comforting, Xmas brings with it lots of love and joy for me, and it always has done since I was a child. It’s my favourite time of every year. If you’re planning a festive wedding, then no doubt you’ll be looking for merry ways of incorporating lots of lovely details. I was in my element compiling this issue, from the winter-inspired venue ideas (page 21) to the fun fashion section starting on page 71 offering glamorous gowns and berry shades for your best girls. So I wish you a very jolly holiday season, and for those of you not getting married just yet, we will be back with another bumper issue in early 2020.
