Your Glos and Wilts Wedding - Dec/Jan 2019 (Issue 18)

My bridal bouquet was stunning. It was a teardrop design featuring red roses and fuchsias and our florist, Lynda, added in my great granddad’s signet ring as my something old. We wanted a traditional wedding with a burgundy and white colour scheme to suit the season so Manor by the Lake was the ideal backdrop for this. “I was a little apprehensive but mostly excited on the morning of our wedding.” - James C harlotte and James met on Tinder and both wanted a long-term relationship. “We were attracted to one another because of our similar interests,” Charlotte tells us. The couple became engaged during a surprise proposal after 18 months of dating. “I knew that James had purchased the ring,” Charlotte tells us. “He asked me at home by playing my favourite song from the Disney movie  Tangled and getting down on one knee.
