Your Glos and Wilts Wedding - October/November 2019 (Issue 17)

Our tables were named after where we had our first date, holiday destinations we had been together, including Venice and, of course, Paphos, and the names of other places of interest we had visited as a couple. I loved my lilac and cream bridal bouquet, which was exactly what I wanted. My bridesmaids’ bouquets complemented mine perfectly. We are both cheese lovers, so it was an easy decision to have a wedding cake made of cheese. It featured a silhouette of us and our son and dog to reflect us as a family. Lewis looked so handsome in his light grey check suit with a lilac waistcoat and cravat. His best man wore exactly the same style. We wanted our guests to interact with each other, so we put ice breakers on all of the tables. We asked them to fill in cards with advice to us and provided them with a speech sweepstake.
