A DAY TO REMEMBER Victoria and James’ informal barn wedding had a rustic theme with pink touches Images courtesy of Nick Adams Photography V ictoria and James met at a local pub. “I was attracted to his lovely smile and great sense of humour, while he loved my eyes,” she tells us. The couple became engaged in a surprise proposal just before Christmas in 2017. “Unbeknown to me, James had been planning a proposal for months but just didn’t know how to do it,” Victoria tells us. “He had been really nervous on the actual day and finally asked me to marry him after a family dinner. He knelt down on our doorstep, saying he needed to do up his shoes, and the next thing I knew, he was proposing to me. Of course I said ‘yes’ straight away!” Here Victoria tells us more about their relaxed, informal day with a pink palette and rustic theme.
