Rebecca Wrightson, 27, married Daniel Baker, 26, on 10 th May, 2018, at Birtsmorton Court. A few months later, when they were both single, a mutual friend got them together for the evening, and their romance blossomed from there. “He was completely different to any man that I had met before,” Rebecca explains. “And we are totally different in terms of personality, but we just clicked. I knew there was something special about him.” Four-and-a-half years later, the couple became engaged in a surprise proposal at the top of the big wheel in Weston-super-Mare. “Daniel’s original plan was to propose to me on the beach while I was paddling in the sea, but this didn’t happen because the tide was out. So he chose to ask me as the carriage stopped at the top of the ride instead.
