Your Glos and Wilts Wedding - Jun/Jul 2019 (Issue 15)

Our cake was a simple natural naked cake topped with flowers. My bridal bouquet contained wild flowers and herbs. We dressed our tables with white tablecloths and hessian runners. Along with our six bridesmaids, I collected unwanted ivy and greenery from the surrounding farm and gardens the evening before the wedding to display down the middle of the tables. Our venue was a field in Salisbury belonging to a family friend, providing a blank canvas for our special day. We wanted to make it about who we are as a couple and those we love. “I have known the farm where we married all my life. I used to attend to the horses there, and having both grown up in rural locations in Salisbury, it had real meaning to us.” – Natasha andTom Tom made some homemade brew, we created our own soft drinks and we selected beers from local breweries and wine from France. We made a drinks menu from a homemade board, which created a personal touch. 42
