Your Glos and Wilts Wedding - Jun/Jul 2019 (Issue 15)

REAL WEDDINGS 31  LOOKING THE PART The couple had organised a pianist to play as guests arrived. “For the evening, we decided on a disco and wanted to find a DJ that would be able to play a mix of English and Slovakian songs,” Simona and Daniel both tell us. “We found one who said he would do it but then dropped the bombshell three days before the wedding that he would have to leave by 10pm. Luckily, a friend who was previously a DJ stepped in, and everyone was dancing until the carriages arrived!” MEMORABLE MOMENTS “We both felt like the happiest couple on our special day, having all of our friends and family there to celebrate it with us,” Simona and Daniel tell us. “We were so relieved that the day went as planned. We both agreed afterwards that seeing each other in the church for the first time was the highlight.” “Work out a plan of action for the day, and then narrow down each aspect of it closer to the time so that the big day itself is organised down to the last detail.” – Simona “Some of our guests were enjoying the disco so much that they missed the bus that we’d organised to transport them to where they were staying! A few phone calls later, and it returned to pick them up.” – Simona
