Your Glos and Wilts Wedding - Apr/May 2019 (Issue 14)

John’s mother made our ivory four-tier cake, which a family friend decorated with handmade light pink, ivory and green flowers wrapped around each tier. It sat on a wooden log slice decorated with ivy. We wanted my (Rebecca’s) farming background to play a part in our wedding, so our table plan was one of my father’s tractor tyres filled with flowers, and the name of each table was pegged from twine. We are extremely lucky to have family friends who own the manor house where we held our marquee reception. We decided on a church wedding followed by a marquee reception. “We dotted outdoor games around the grounds to entertain our guests.” – Rebecca 42
