 Birtsmorton Court, Gloucestershire borders This picturesque wedding venue is a Medieval moated manor house set in a stunning countryside location, available to hire on an exclusive-use basis. It suits celebrations of all sizes taking place in any season, with its roaring log fires ideal for mid-winter nuptials and its historic moat and stunning marquee best suited to spring and summer weddings. There’s a quaint church on-site, a garden full of white flowers from April to October and the romantic Bridal Suite filling the west wing of the venue. Civil ceremonies take place in a variety of areas, both indoors and out. The tranquil White Garden is home to a pergola under a canopy for al fresco vows, with loved ones seated on the lawn. Meanwhile, the quaint parish church, St Thomas of Canterbury with St Peter & St Paul, Birtsmorton, accommodates up to 115 guests for a more traditional service. The Great Hall holds up to 80 guests and the Garden Room up to 200 loved ones for the ceremony. The wedding breakfast is held in the light and airy marquee, while the Garden Room is stunning for the evening reception thanks to its starlit canopy. The Legacy Rose &Crown Hotel, Salisbury Perched on the River Avon with spectacular views of Salisbury Cathedral and beyond is this four-star hotel, which was originally a 13 th -century coaching inn. The property is licensed for civil ceremonies in a variety of spaces that can be tailored to suit different wedding requirements, with the newest licensed area being the Belvedere. This is a charming garden pavilion accessed from the Orangery via a path, and there’s also a waterfront terrace, which is an ideal spot for post-ceremony drinks. Indoor ceremonies take place in the Orangery for up to 100 loved ones, and that can then be transformed for the reception, with its removable partition wall connected to the Cathedral Suite. Receptions are also held for up to 100 guests in The Cathedral Suite, and a slightly larger party of up to 120 can be accommodated in the River’s Edge Restaurant. ❤ We love… the extra rooms within the grounds for an additional 16 guests to stay over.
