The new lunch menu, set at just £26 for two courses and £28 for three, offers a selection of starters, mains and desserts, including a chef’s special that will regularly be updated. As well as delicious local meats, all menus have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Sumi says, “This new menu is close to my heart. I call it refined dining, where I champion fresh local produce. Blossoms’ latest menus are all about celebrating flavours; we’re proud to serve dishes that are not too fussy in style and use seasonal produce that makes the dishes very tasty.” Other new winter menus include nibbles and sharing platters, a light lunch menu offering sandwiches, burgers, salads and pizzas, and the evening menu packed with a unique selection of dishes. These include super slow-cooked English beef, pan-fried wild stone bass, lamb osso buco rogan josh and many other options. In addition, there’s a selection of seven starter options and an array of dessert dishes, ensuring every palette is satisfied. One of the first people to try the new winter menu was Rutland local, Abi Richardson who says, “The service was excellent: super friendly, attentive, unobtrusive and the plates came out with just the right amount of rest time in between.
