Getting ready with her best girls, the weather, the beautiful surroundings, the happy atmosphere and the attentive staff all made for the perfect day from start to finish for the bride. Lou comments, “Everyone went above and beyond for us; the suppliers’ attention to detail and services were second to none. The wedding party was so wonderful in ensuring we had the best day of our lives.” The pair hired rustic-style garden games provided by Emma Lane, which came beautifully themed and were a big hit with guests who played long into the night. The venue’s DJ kicked off the party in the evening; everyone was up dancing the night away. HONEYMOON The lovebirds went on a three-night mini-moon to the Whootin Owl Barn in York, a beautiful little hideaway in the middle of nowhere with a hot tub and a swing hanging from a tree in the woodland garden. It was the most beautiful place and the perfect choice for the pair. Lou says, “We didn’t want to be away from our four-year-old for too long and thanks to our wonderful wedding guests, we have booked a week-long honeymoon next year to Lindos in Greece!” 27 REAL WEDDINGS
