LOOKING THE PART Elizabeth always knew she didn’t want a huge dress and fell in love with a fish-tail-shaped design. She says, “I opted for an Anna Sorrano gown called Francesca and surprisingly liked the slight sparkle and glass buttons, even though I originally wanted covered buttons.” A beautiful drop necklace and earrings finished off her look and matched the colour scheme perfectly. The groom looked dashing in a grey three-piece suit, ivory- coloured waistcoat and purple tie. The groomsmen wore the same except for grey waistcoats, which allowed the groom to stand out. Each bridesmaid looked beautiful in grey halter- neck dresses with pleated skirts. MEMORABLE MOMENTS The day was full of so many beautiful moments and the pair managed to create the perfect wedding day despite the worldwide pandemic. Due to Government restrictions, only 15 guests could attend the day, but the couple decided to stream the ceremony over Zoom for those who couldn’t attend. Elizabeth comments, “It was amazing to see more than 80 screens join us virtually, it was amazing to have more people involved in the day and some friends had recorded themselves doing the readings and one of our songs.” HONEYMOON After a day full of celebrations and memories, the couples set off to South Wales for a week to reflect on their special day and enjoy their first moments as newlyweds. “Our top tips for other couples would be not to rush the day. It feels so important to get to the next venue and talk to all your guest, but take time to enjoy the experience.” – Elizabeth 28
