Nearly everyone at the table ended up giving an impromptu speech – it was so lovely and made us both feel very loved! Rich said it was the happiest half-day of his life; he was really nervous in the morning, but was so happy after the ceremony. Our guest list was reduced from 75 to 15 because of restrictions, but the best man (the groom’s brother) and maid-of-honour (my sister) asked all our missing guests to record video messages, which was played after the speeches! We were genuinely shocked and it was so emotional – I cried all the way through! 40
