This shoot’s a gorgeous example of ways to add a personal twist to any backdrop. The styling for the day was dark and romantic whilst still being sophisticated and elegant. Tracy Watson at Nottingham’s Swancar Farm Country House teamed up with photographer Chris Snowden and a range of local suppliers to bring her vision to life. She says, “I love the deep seasonal colours, so we paired that with metallics, dramatic blooms and a touch of sparkle to add a subtle Gothic, romantic feel to our backdrop. The Glass Barn is the venue’s newest addition for ceremonies and reception drinks; we couldn’t wait to see what could be done in there with the styling.” “From smoke bombs and autumnal leaf confetti to the sun setting just at the right moment, we couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop,” says Tracy. “There’s been much uncertainty over the past year and the shoot was the perfect opportunity for us all to do what we do best – weddings!”  ROMANCE Sophisticated
