We had a string quartet called Highly Strung to entertain guests during the welcome drinks. The bridesmaids wore pastel pink maxi-dresses from Beau Belles Borrowash, Derbyshire. The groom wore a charcoal grey tailcoat with pinstripe traditional trousers and an ivory tie. The groomsmen wore the same except for pink ties and a single waistcoat rather than doubled like James. I picked a Justin Alexander wedding dress which looked beautiful! To keep guests full, we had canapés, slow cooked beef or chicken for the wedding breakfast and a hog roast and McDonald’s nugget van for the evening. We travelled to the venue in our friend’s Bentley Continental GT and Range Rover. REAL WEDDINGS 39 
