Your East Anglian Wedding - August/September 2024 (Issue 68)

ALL EYES ON YOU Make-up artist Emily Chantal tells us what she expects to see on trend in 2025. The no-make-up look will be popular. Think no false eyelashes or even mascara. In a recent Vogue interview, Olivia Culpo revealed she didn’t wear any on her wedding day. Celebrity-inspired looks in general are on trend; last year, it was all about Sofia Richie and her fresh minimal makeup look. This year, everyone is obsessed with pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter’s signature flushed pink cheeks. Dewy and glassy skin is still everywhere and brides are investing in facials in the months leading up to the wedding to hydrate and prep their skin in advance. Gen Z brides are ditching lipstick and opting for lip liner, lip oils and glosses instead to create plump, juicy lips. Blush draping, which is basically colour positioned high up on the cheekbone up to the temples, is also rising in popularity. For your eyes, latte make-up looks with monochromatic bronzed tones on the eyes, lips and cheeks are ideal. Use matte minimal eyeshadow with concealer to even out the eyelids and a wash of bronzer to add subtle sculpting. The classic tweed and double-breasted suits will continue to be popular, but we think more couples will be opting for fitted suits in a range of colours or black-tie options with bright, personalised accessories. Colourful ties, buttonholes, flowers and suit linings will be popular in 2024 and throughout 2025. This is a great way of incorporating your chosen colour scheme or theme and expressing your personality. www.unsplash.com/@omurden www.emilytylerphotography.com www.unsplash.com/@blakecheekk www.imagesbyanna.co.uk LOOKING YOUR BEST 79
