It’s so easy to get caught up in the day and barely see each other. We had a sweetheart table and it was probably the only time we really sat down and had a conversation with each other! For our honeymoon, we are going to Saint Lucia in November and we cannot wait! All of our wonderful suppliers made the day unbelievable, but our incredible photographer Charlotte really went above and beyond and we feel like we’ve truly gained a friend for life. When I say she literally offered me the shoes off her feet when Leith brought the wrong ones, I am not exaggerating; I of course didn’t accept! We went off to have some golden hour photos taken and my feet had completely given up in my heels on the way back, so Leith ran back to get my flat shoes but instead decided to take my maid-of-honour’s shoes, which were three sizes too small for me! The doors opening and seeing Leith waiting at the bottom of the aisle is an image I will never forget. We also loved having our daughter celebrate the day with us; it was just incredible. I remember everyone asking if I was nervous and I really wasn’t. It just felt right and there was no part of me that felt anxious about it. 44
