DRESSED TO IMPRESS “My gown was called Felix by Essense of Australia,” says Danielle. “I purchased it from Pure Brides in Norwich. I originally had a completely different dress in mind, but when I tried on Felix, my wedding party instantly fell in love. It was the first proper dress that I tried on in the shop and I instantly knew it was the one. Sam hired his suit from Pure Suit Hire. It was green tweed with a burnt orange tie that matched our colour scheme. “We had seven bridesmaids that all wore gowns from 72Styles Infinity Dress,” adds Danielle. “The flexible design meant that they could all wear a style that suited their body type.” TIME TO CELEBRATE “After the ceremony, we had an acoustic band play for our guests while we were having photos taken,” shares the bride. “We then had a live band called Georgia Falls perform in the evening. They were a massive hit with our guests and they played songs that were suitable for everyone. Additionally, they let Sam sing along with them for a couple of songs, which was great fun.” MEMORABLE MOMENTS “On the day, we were so full of love and were happy to have all our friends and family together to celebrate,” explains Danielle. “We both had the usual nerves and there were plenty of tears shed throughout the day – happy ones, of course! “It was our niece and best friend’s birthday, so we got them both a cake and sang happy birthday to them after the meal and speeches,” continues the bride. “Everybody made our day special, but Sam’s father went above and beyond to collect special photos and make a video that none of us knew about, which was wonderful.” FLY AWAY WITH ME For their honeymoon, Danielle and Sam went to Mauritius for 10 days. “We planned it ourselves,” recalls Danielle. “We had the best time; we went on some amazing trips, but it was made extra special as, while we were out there, we found out that we were pregnant with our first child.” DANIELLE AND SAM’S TOP TIPS “Make sure you enjoy every moment,” says the couple. “People will tell you that the day goes by fast, but it really is over before you know it.
