Your East Anglian Wedding - April/May 2024 (Issue 66)

My mum, mother-in-law and I made the centrepieces together, with the help of a friend who printed the table names. We decided to have a bride-and-groom caterpillar cake, as it’s Jordan’s favourite. I made our table plan using a hula hoop, spray paint and pampas grass. I made our wedding favours with the help of a friend. They were personalised for each guest and also doubled up as place names. We chose Hungarian Hall for our reception because the hall was perfect for our chilled-out, relaxed day and the grounds were just beautiful. The owners were also very kind and attentive to our needs. I’ve always wanted to get married in a church, so we decided to tie the knot at our local village church. It was wonderful, as the vicar has sentimental connections with both of us. 46
