To keep our guests entertained, we hired My Big Fat Wedding Disco. We also played Mr. and Mrs before our first dance and bought bubble guns in place of confetti, which kept the guests amused throughout the evening! The bridesmaids wore forest green multi-way dresses from Lá Closet Dé Chánel. I asked them to choose whichever style they felt most comfortable in. They accessorised with gold necklaces with leaves on and gold shoes. Matt chose a light grey three-piece suit from Moss Bros. He got his suit custom-made and finished the look with dinosaur bone cufflinks to show his love of dinosaurs. I accessorised with gold cuff earrings with silver leaves to match the foliage. I also wore gold sparkly heels from Kurt Geiger that I could wear again after the wedding. I wore a Morilee design called 6904 from London Bride UK. They had a lockdown sale and a home try-on service, so the dress was delivered to my house. I tried it on during my lunch break and unexpectedly found the one! I had an additional set of straps added to the dress, so there were two straps on each side that crossed over at the back. We had a choice of two to three options per course for the wedding breakfast. In the evening, we could pick a traditional buffet or bacon and sausage butties with chips. We decided for the latter, and they went down a treat! The catering team at Isaacs on the Quay was very accommodating of our guests’ dietary requirements. 49 REAL WEDDINGS
