We were delighted to become Mr and Mrs Bates and so happy to see our families and closest friends enjoying the day in and around the manor. The table plan reflected our pink and lilac colour scheme and we had fresh foliage across the top. We had straight glass vases in various heights with floating candles and submerged roses as centrepieces. My friend made our three-tier cake, which was decorated with lilac and white icing flowers. After the ceremony the incredible close-up magician Phil Busby astounded our guests with his magic while they enjoyed drinks and canapés on the terrace. Our wedding planner Jacqueline at Woodhall Manor knew that we liked fairylights and lanterns. It became a running joke between us and on the day she made sure there were twinkling lights everywhere!
