Your East Anglian Wedding - April/May 2021 (Issue 48)

I was so unprepared when I met our cake maker, I had to quickly Google wildflower wedding cakes! Maria was brilliant though and the one she made for us was utterly gorgeous. Our florist Caroline is a family friend and she used so many flowers to decorate the venue including a gorgeous selection for the ceremony and swags of greenery over the dining area – there may even have been the odd pineapple or two! We didn’t have a table plan, people could just sit where they liked. We had Pete’s Pizzas for the wedding breakfast. Pete and his wife were so lovely and it was great value with meat, veggie and vegan options. We gave our guests packets of sunflower seeds in aid of the Mind charity as wedding favours.
