The proposal was quite dramatic though, as Ryan popped the question on a beach in Mexico, at night during a massive thunderstorm. “We were supposed to be going to Cuba but Hurricane Irma put pay to that. I was crying the week before and wanted to cancel the holiday, not knowing that Ryan was planning to propose while we were away. Fortunately, he convinced me to go to Mexico instead. If not, we probably would have ended up getting engaged in Morrisons or somewhere equally glamorous!” They opted for an outdoor wedding and were married at The Firepit Camp in Wendling, Norfolk on 22 nd August, 2019.
