After the ceremony, mulled wine was served in the marquee while festive songs played on the piano as we had our photos taken. My best friend, two sisters and two eldest daughters wore burgundy Dessy bridesmaid dresses with Jenny Packman shrugs to keep warm. My youngest daughter wore an ivory flowergirl dress with a Monsoon shrug. The bouquets and flowergirl headband were created mainly with burgundy and white roses, green lisianthus and red berries. John and the ushers all wore two-piece navy blue suits from Next. John also had a waistcoat and an ivory rose buttonhole to stand out from the crowd while his son, the youngest usher, looked smart in burgundy trousers with a plaid waistcoat. My Maggie Sottero Allen dress had a plain skirt teamed with a bodice encrusted with Swar ovski crystals and pearls. As soon as I tried it on I kn ew it was the one and it fitted with the wedding theme pe rfectly. 34
