Darren’s sense of humour won Susan over and after getting together as a couple he popped the question while they were on holiday in the Dominican Republic. “It was a total surprise and after he proposed we officially got engaged on my birthday in August, 2017,” Susan reveals. They tied the knot two years later on November 23 rd in the chapel at Thetford Grammar School, followed by a reception at Brandon House Hotel, Suffolk.
