A FAMILY Rebecca and Shaun celebrated their big day surrounded by family and friends Images courtesy of Wedding Photography by Neil Baxter A meal out to mark their first year together as a couple ended in a happy ever after for Rebecca and Shaun Day. After pizza and prosecco Shaun popped the question as they walked home via the Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmunds. “Shaun seemed very nervous during the meal and said he had a gift for me but not to get my hopes up as it wasn’t a ring!” remembers Rebecca. After trying to put her off the scent, as they reached Angel Hill Shaun asked her to hold out her hand and close her eyes. “When I opened them he was down on one knee and asked me to marry him.” She said ‘yes’, of course!
