The day goes by so quickly we didn’t want to waste any of it sitting down unnecessarily. The band was incredible! They played an acoustic set for the ceremony, during cocktails and canapés on the lawn, then got into full swing for the evening reception in the barn when everyone was up dancing. “Emily’s mother Sue basically organised the whole wedding for us as we were a bit restricted living in Australia. ​How she managed to run her cafe in Framlingham as well as everything else and still manage to remain calm is amazing. We will never be able to thank her enough!” BECCI’S TOP TIP Spend more time dancing and mingling by having canapés as a starter while the photos are being taken. We had an old suitcase full of Aussie treats including plenty of Tim Tam biscuits for our British guests to try. 44
