Your East Anglian Wedding - April/May 2020 (Issue 42)
My friends from school played violin and guitar as our guests were arriving and afterwards creating a lovely relaxed atmosphere. It was really heartwarming to have that personal touch with them performing as I walked down the aisle with my mum. We were looking for somewhere we could marry outside, but with an equally beautiful indoor backup up plan; it is England after all! The Old Hall Ely was perfect for our dream wedding as we wanted a venue with beautiful scenery where we could host our whole celebration from start to finish. As the back of my dress was so beautiful, I didn’t want a veil to cover it so I went with a lovely sparkly hairpiece instead. I had extra embellishments added to my Maggie Sottero dress to make it really sparkle. Although we originally wanted an outdoor ceremony, the English weather thought otherwise. However, it didn’t spoil our day at all; it felt perfect form beginning to end. 36
