59 PHOTO SHOOT S et in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, the 18 th -century Georgian mansion and grounds provided the perfect magical backdrop for local suppliers to unleash their creative talents. Owner Lara Lacey came up with the concept to provide an imaginative vision for couples who dream big and welcome bold ideas. “With super rich colours, exuberance, inspirational aesthetics and the authentic appeal of the Morning Room at Thurning Hall, the shoot was designed to wow,” she explains. Inspired by her home and its rich history, the aim was to showcase its eclectic quality, the building’s many hidden nooks and quirky corners of the vast gardens. She approached photographer Janie Richardson of Bigphatphotos and Mandy Carter of Dottie Events & Hire, who together with a team of other local creatives, pulled the whole look together. BIG The dining table in the grand Morning Room was dressed with vintage crockery, elegant glassware, gold cutlery and urns overflowing with flowers and fruits, supplied and styled by Mandy of Dotties Event & Hire. The room featured her bespoke wired wall bursting with greenery to showcase the magical unicorn which was central to the dramatic fantasy theme.
