Your East Anglian Wedding - Dec/Jan 2019 (Issue 40)
The tables were decorated with hessian and lace table runners with centrepieces which I made from jars filled with candles, lights, pearls and gypsophila. We had candy canes with wooden snowflake favours which were personalised with the wedding date and each guest’s name so they doubled up as place settings. We went with a Christmas theme and named the tables after Santa’s reindeers, including Cupid for the top table, of course! The reception was held at the Lord Rosebery where Jake and I met and had our first date, so it was an easy choice for us. Jake wore a herringbone tweed Harry Brown suit. His son Charley, who was eight at the time, was best man and he had a blue suit with the same pocket square and bow tie as his dad. We loved the atmosphere at the pub, it was so cosy and pretty with all the fairylights. REAL WEDDINGS 37
