Your East Anglian Wedding - October/November 2019 (Issue 39)
We had access to the terrace and the views across the fields were gorgeous. In the spirit of intimacy, we sat on one long table as a family for our wedding breakfast. There were 30 of us and I printed the menus on torn parchment, with the name of each guest to use as place settings. The other love of my life, our dog Bear, joined us for photos in the Abbey Gardens after the ceremony. As big foodies, farm to fork is something we’re passionate about and both venues ticked that box. We have a big extended family that we love to spend time with and including them on our wedding day was everything to us, which is why we decided on a big celebration at Jimmy’s afterwards. We loved the idea of having a really chilled wedding breakfast at Ben’s Restaurant. It felt like a balance of tradition but more relaxed. REAL WEDDINGS 47
