The seating plan was displayed on a map of Australia with pins marking all the places we’ve been to. I did all the hand-lettering for the seating plan as well as all the chalkboard signs. All the kids had a goodie bag each with a disposable camera, cuddly kangaroo and a children’s book from Australia. Stubby holders are an Aussie staple for keeping your tinnies cold. We ordered personalised ones for our guests in maroon; Queensland’s state colour, and fans to keep them cool. The weather was lovely and everyone enjoyed garden games outside on the lawns. We had a two-tier, rainbow-speckled funfetti cake with lemon cream as well as little jaffa, mini funfetti and mocha stout cakes. They were all delicious! REAL WEDDINGS 49 
