IN AN ENGLISH COUNTRY GARDEN Chloe and Ben’s big day was a bright colour burst of beautiful blooms Images courtesy of Tom Halliday A fter meeting at work and becoming close friends, love blossomed for Chloe and Ben following the breakdown of her marriage. “Ben was a real support to me and our relationship grew from there,” she explains. Ben proposed on her 30 th birthday. It was a complete surprise as he’d told her that they were just going out for a meal, but instead he whisked her off for a romantic weekend away. “We went for one night in Helsinki, which was lovely, then on my actual birthday, we woke up early to return to the airport and he told me were going to Ivalo in Lapland to stay in one of the glass igloos and hopefully see the northern lights! The night we arrived we went on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride around the forest and stopped for some champagne. As we posed for a photo, the next thing I knew Ben was down on one knee!” She said yes, of course!
