38 Rustic romance with a dash of glitz and glamour Images courtesy of Vicky Plum Photography WOODLAND A romantic outdoor setting provides the perfect backdrop for a rustic wedding with scope to let your imagination run free. Local wedding suppliers converged on the Shepherd’s Hut Rest in Northwold, Norfolk to put their creative talents to the test. The quaint huts, firepit, wide open spaces, ancient trees and wonderful woodland provided the ideal starting point. “What began as a nugget of inspiration between Emily Jessup from Face ‘n’ Glitz and myself, quickly snowballed into a full-blown shoot,” explains wedding stylist Holly Honeywell. “The concept was centred around the fun and energy of having a glitter bar at your wedding, combining the rustic elements of an outdoor glamping venue with elegance, glitz and glamour.” The woodland provided the perfect rustic setting for the ceremony with a macramé backdrop as the focal point, dressed with flowers and surrounded by vintage brassware, hurricane vases and candles. sparkle Emily chose aquamarine gems for the bridesmaid and maid-of-honour to match the sparkle on their dresses. The bride’s elegant necklace-style design complemented the neckline of her dress and colourful bouquet. Even Guinness the horse was involved!
