Described as a ‘life-affirming’ hue, it works well with a range of complementary natural shades to suit different wedding styles and themes. Local suppliers show how in this styled shoot at Norfolk wedding venue Oxnead Hall. Florist Anna Johnstone set about creating the look using coral as her focal point. Set against the backdrop of the venue’s stunning Fountain Room, with its intricate carved wall design, bare white brick walls, stone statues and urns, the aim was to create a vision of elegance and femininity. The table was set with simple layers of rustic material in neutral tones, gold plates and cutlery to complement the coral flowers. “The candles gave the table a light romantic feel and were used throughout the settings to continue the theme.The window setting, dressed with sweeping fabrics and trailing ivy, brings a feeling of nature and calm inside the room,” explains Anna. The model’s hair and make-up tied in with the colours of the flowers, a soft light palette was used for the stationery set off by coral satin ribbon and the showstopping cake was decorated with a striking coral design, overflowing with beautiful blooms.
