Here they share their insight into emerging trends for the year ahead... ❤ PERSPEX AND ACRYLIC Love for these modern materials emerged last year but is set to really take off in 2019. For table plans, name places, menus and more, acrylic or Perspex signage is ideal for fashion- forward couples looking for a modern wedding. Clear is likely to be most popular, although we also expect to see frosted, some with a colourful accent – a bold brushstroke of colour or shading with bright white lettering. ❤ NEON It’s undoubtedly the year of the neon light, but not necessarily as you know it! Think romantic scrawls of sweet nothings behind your ceremony, top table or cake. It’s bold, it’s beautiful, it’s industrial! If you’re looking at a more alternative-style venue, this is definitely going to be the trend for you! ❤ DARK COLOURS We think a darker palette will be popular and not just for the autumn and winter months! We’re seeing it in home interiors and fashion as well. The ‘now’ colours seem to be calling on dark hues; wonderful for weddings to evoke those dark romantic vibes! We’re thinking shades of green and blue will lead the way, especially in florals, foliage, bridesmaid dresses and suits. ❤ HANGING FLORALS Hand in hand with romantic wedding lighting, hanging florals are becoming more and more popular. Whether for the ceremony or reception, they add dramatic impact to your day. Using structures, such as arches or moon gates, you can create beautiful floral installations to wow your guests. We recommend bringing in the pros for this one though! Working with hanging florals can be a real headache when it comes to keeping beautiful blooms hydrated!
