We kept the décor minimal with white tablecloths and crockery and simple posies for the centrepieces. Chris plays guitar as a hobby, which we reflected by having one for friends and family to sign as something a bit different to remember our day by. We wanted a live band as Chris is very into his music and Encore had a repertoire that matched our musical tastes; they even learnt our first dance song You by Black Stone Cherry. Bethany’s top tip: Tackle one challenge at a time. That’s what we did and we didn’t move on until we were happy with our decision and the deposit was paid. 56
